dlc Software Solutions, LLC was founded in Phoenix, Arizona (USA) in 2002, then known as DLC Ware.  Since then, we have slowly and steadily grown from a one-man (part-time) consultant to a well-known software / data architecture and development firm with a growing staff.  We have developed systems for huge entities such as The United States Army, Boeing, and CNN; as well as countless small applications and websites for small-businesses and individuals.

     Our philosophy is rooted in solving our client's problems.  We think of ourselves as problem-solvers.  Custom software should alleviate pain.  That is it's purpose.  The best developers identify key pain points in a process and fix them with good software, sometimes combined with other non-automated solutions.  We employ a variant of the Agile Software Methodology known as Scrum.  The primary driver behind this methodology is that the customer is able to be part of the development process by seeing the software at every stage and providing critique and feedback.

     Be sure to follow our blog to stay up-to-date with the latest developments.  Software changes very quickly.  Unlike many of our competitors, we make it a pointto stay up-to-date with state-of-the-art software solutions.  Currently for our LAMP Web projects we are using the latest stable PHP 5.3 and MySql 5.5.  We don't just install the latest tools, we actually utilize them.  Our PHP code is modern Object Oriented code that utilizes none of PHP's deprecated functionality.  Our MySql databases are fully normalized and relational utilizing the ACID compliant innodb storage engine.  For Microsoft develpment we use Visual Studio 2010 on the .Net 4 library.  For Apple we're developing against iOS5 and Mac OS X Lion.
